Humor is a powerful warm-up tool. That‘s why I use it in all my client projects.
Using tiktoks and memes will increase loyalty enormously. And if you create jokes yourself, people will just fall in love with you.
I measured the conversion of sales posts with and without humor and the difference is always noticeable. The conversion rate is much, much higher with a funny post than a useful one.
Of course, you can‘t say that this generally works every single time, but the projects that I worked on showed a difference of 50-100%. Let that sink in: 1.5-2 times more payments – that is, if your jokes actually worked well.
So how do you sell through humor?
1. Don’t be afraid to tease people. But be methodical and confident about it, like the best student in class, who laughs at the cool boys by being better than them. Also, don‘t laugh at people directly, because that would be awful. Poke fun at yourself, haters, competitors, mistakes and stupid human decisions.
2. Be yourself. Do not squeeze humor out of yourself if you aren‘t in the mood.
Only joke about what you want to joke about. Otherwise, it won‘t be funny.
Catch yourself being in the clown mood, put on a red nose and create some content. The longer you’ll be in this moment, the better it will turn out.
3. Recharge. Watch memes and tiktoks, be open to any humor. An hour of watching memes will give you twice the sales in the end, if you convert the playful attitude into content. The main thing is not to be a boring “grandparent” who looks at all the jokes with scepticism. If you catch yourself being too sceptical, get back to being funny.
