The Art of Sales: Logic Trigger

Have you ever wondered why most sales pitches seem unconvincing? They are usually vague and generic, filled with phrases like “top quality,” “amazing ingredients,” or “the best you can get.” But how about we try something different? Let’s use the ‘Logic Trigger.’

The ‘Logic Trigger’ is a simple method that involves using 3-5 solid arguments that set you apart or add urgency to your pitch, arranging them into a logical sequence.

Let’s apply it to personal styling:

1. Everyone wants to look good, right? You would agree with that.
2. You, like everyone else, want to look your best. Isn’t that true?
3. To look good, you need to choose your clothes correctly. If you choose wrong, it might look awkward. We can all agree on that.
4. Therefore, if you want to choose your clothes correctly, you need personalised advice. This seems logical, doesn’t it?
5. Who can give you personalised style advice? That would be me.
6. Consequently, if you want to look your best, you could use my personal style consultation and clothing recommendations.

You can apply this method to any field, not just fashion. The trick is to create a logical chain where it’s almost impossible to say “no” to any of the arguments.

A minimum of 3 links is necessary for this chain, but you can use up to 10 or 12. You can incorporate these points in your videos, write them in newsletters, use them for your webinars, or as your sales scripts.

Here’s another example:

1. We all want to grow our Instagram presence. Makes sense, right?
2. You’re here, so you, like many others, are probably looking to boost your IG account. True?
3. Each Instagram account is unique, with a specific audience, competitors, and content. A one-size-fits-all strategy won’t work. Logical, isn’t it?
4. Therefore, to effectively reach your audience, you need a strategy tailored specifically to your account. Makes sense, right?
5. Who provides personalised Instagram account audits? I do.
5. Hence, if you’re serious about growing your Instagram, a personalised account audit is what you need to guide your strategy.
