Now, I understand that not everyone is keen on putting text on their photos, and that’s fine. You don’t have to use this trick on every post – just give it a go occasionally, and see how it works for you.
So, how do you go about doing it? It’s really quite simple:
- Add a title on the photo (you can use the Canva app for this). If you’re going to post a carousel, the first slide should be with the title on the photo. If you’re posting a single picture, just add the title directly to the image. You might ask what is better: a single picture or a carousel. The answer depends on with what type of content hashtags work best for your Instagram account.
- Choose 4-5 clear and impactful words to create an attention-grabbing headline. Remember to use a font that’s straightforward and easy to read, steering clear of ornate styles.
